It all started with the American Dream and a passion. Born and raised in Eastern Europe, I remember those early mornings when the smell of grandma’s fresh bread, just baked in her brick oven, would be the only motivation needed to get me out of bed early. Made with only the most natural, simple ingredients, and without using any measurement utensils, somehow she managed to get it just right every time.
I’ve always had a passion for making delicious food. There is something about seeing the look of joy on people’s faces when they taste something you’ve made with love; it drives and excites me. My goal was to create a product that is truly like no other and bring it to the American market. No cutting corners. No cheap substitutes. Nothing artificial.
We are often asked what sets us apart from other bakeries. And it is that good, old-fashioned natural simplicity and quality. Sometimes you have to go back to basics to create something amazing. Our bread is crafted with just a few simple ingredients. You will never find any preservatives, artificial colors, additives, artificial flavor boosters, dough conditioners, and other ingredients that are often marketed as “all natural” on popular bread brands.
My dream became a reality when I built and opened a bakery in Plano, TX. Bread Street Boys is a family operated, commercial wholesale bakery, offering bread products to local grocery stores, restaurants, and even neighborhood communities. Our most popular product is 100% natural sourdough bread. Full of flavor to enjoy by itself, yet simple enough to make sandwiches, toast, and even croutons. The bakery is equipped to produce large daily volumes of anything from bread products, to pizza and pastries.
The biggest compliment we get is when we hear “This tastes just like my grandma’s bread!” not just from the locals, but also from those of the European decent and other parts of the world. Bread Street Boys will continue to commit to prioritizing quality and delivering products that remind us of the best moments in life.
